Youth Ministries

Youth Ministries is about walking alongside our teens from grades 7-12 in developing their faith in God, providing a space to ask questions, and learn how to engage in the world as a follower of Jesus. Youth Group meets weekly at 11:00am on Sunday after service and there are monthly events scheduled throughout the year to provide ways for the Youth to belong to a community in Christ.

Sunday Youth Group

Youth Group meets at 11:00 am following Sunday service and involves a time of checking in weekly, reading Scripture, prayer, and examining a theme of exploration for the year. This year Youth Group is examining how to develop healthy Christian boundaries.

Club 456 & Jr High

During the school year (September through May) we meet 6-8 pm, two Fridays a month. Our evenings usually include arrival activities, dinner, a lesson, and lots of games. We have a few nights where we have off campus activities like Lazertag and local sports events.

Kids In Mission

One-day camp held on Veteran’s Day for children in grades 4-8th grade. Activities include games and other activities, lessons, and a project for a local ministry or nonprofit.

Confirmation Class

Confirmation class is offered once a year to children who want to profess their faith in Christ and those who desire to be baptized. For those who were baptized as infants, confirmation is a great way for children to commit to embrace their own faith in God. Baptism happens only once in our Reformed tradition. We recognize and accept all Trinitarian baptism. Children who were baptized as infants are offered the opportunity to confirm the baptismal vows made on their behalf and publicly declare their faith in Jesus Christ as the congregation commits to helping raise the children of God and help them to experience God’s love.

Fellowship events

Fellowship events are intentional in bringing our Youth together to decompress, bond, and walk life together just as Christ walks alongside all of us. Some examples include: a movie night, families hosting dinner, camping trips, and involvement in some mission opportunities.
