COMMISSIONED RULING ELDER

I’ve been a member of First Presbyterian Church Santa Barbara since 1985 when I, and my husband Lee, joined. I was raised in Asia and graduated from a Missionary High School in India. Upon returning to the States to attend UCSB. I received my Masters degree in speech and language pathology at UCSB and am a practicing speech therapist. 

I have completed a three year program in Spiritual Direction and am a Commissioned Ruling Elder (lay pastor) having completed the Union Theological Seminary’s program in 2018, and installed by the Presbytery of Santa Barbara. I’m currently on Session and have served several times over the years. I love worship and serving our congregation in any way needed.
