It looks different this year, but our faith community continues to practice the traditions of Advent expectation and Christmas celebration, grateful for God’s sustaining Spirit during this season.
Advent is a season of waiting and watching – the word derives from the Latin adventus, which means “the coming.” As the days grow shorter and darker, the observance of Advent helps instill in us the hope for God’s light to shine in the world.
Advent Sunday Services – 10:00am Drive-in Worship
Drive-in, stay in your vehicle, listen to and participate in worship safely from your car. We light the Advent candles around the wreath each Sunday, candles of Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love. And even though we are in our cars, our prayers, our music, and the reflections on Scripture are the same: God’s living word speaks life into our lives and into the world!
