Adult Education

Faith formation is the Holy Spirit’s work, and we as a church provide the space and the time and the resources for people’s faith to deepen and grow.

Sunday Morning Adult Education Hour:

Adults meet in Anderson Lounge, off the Lobby, at 11am on Sunday Morning for a time of learning and fellowship.  Topics and speakers vary, and often align with a current sermon series.

Welcome All is centered around the practice of Christian hospitality. When we are intentional about welcoming all, we are affirming the worth of all of God’s people. This unit features stories rooted in hospitality from both Old and New Testaments of the Bible. The hope of this practice is for each person to look at their own idea of welcoming all and ask themselves if a friend or stranger would experience the welcoming spirit of Christ in them.

Koinonia Connect Groups:

Koinonia Connect Groups take their name from the Greek word meaning “fellowship.” These small groups meet throughout the year and are one of the best places to foster significant relationships and growth with one another. Koinonia Connect Groups are a safe place to be known, encouraged, challenged, and celebrated. Each group will be different depending on the leaders and people in the group, but each one exists to help people connect with one another and with God.

If you are interested in forming or joining an Koinonia Connect Group, please contact the church office.
